As I'm gearing up for my July Schedule, I want to remind teachers, counselors, professors, and principals to remember their "Why". I know it sounds so cliché and you've heard it time and time again at different professional development conferences but I challenge you on this one thing. Remember Why you didn't give up when that thing happened that you didn't think you could get over! 

Remember why you kept pushing through school even though in the back of your mind you felt you were meant to do more! Remember Why you sought out to be a teacher and not just a surface level answer! Remember your "Why" so you can help your students with their "Now". Take care of yourself this summer and remember that someone is waiting to hear your story and it will completely change the trajectory of their life.
